Student Orientation Day (HOPe):

Student Orientation Day (HOPe) is a one-day program designed to welcome and introduce new students to the educational system at IPIP. It is held twice a year before the commencement of the academic term. The program is organized by the HOPe committee under the supervision of IPIP. The objectives of the Student Orientation Day (HOPe) are: To introduce students to Islamic education at IPIP To showcase the exemplary image of IPIP students to the public To nurture youth who will become future religious leaders To expose students to current global issues related to Islam To equip students with knowledge that will prepare them to become Islamic preachers (Da’i) The ta’aruf (getting-to-know) session among students is conducted in the form of games to provide them with the opportunity to interact and strengthen their bonds of brotherhood. Motivational talks with the theme of Ilmu, Iman dan Amal (Knowledge, Faith, and Practice) will also be delivered by asatizah (religious teachers) to ignite the spirit of learning throughout their journey at IPIP. Additionally, the asatizah will share insights on the modules that the students will be studying.

Tadarus Al-Quran:

Tadarus al-Quran was initiated in 2010. It is an annual program held every Sunday during the month of Ramadan for IPIP students and the public. The program consists of Quran recitation sessions and concludes with a Quran Completion Ceremony (Majlis Khatam al-Quran). Participants are divided into 5 to 10 groups, each led by a Pentasmi’ (recitation leader). They will read 10 juz (sections) each week until the entire Quran is completed by the third week. The Quran Completion Ceremony is celebrated with the attendance of IPIP students, asatizah, alumni, and the public. After each prayer recitation, a tazkirah (reminder) session on the importance of reading and completing the Quran is also shared. The goal of this program is to foster strong bonds between IPIP students, asatizah, and the public through the collective recitation of the Quran.
