Vision
To become a leading Islamic educational institution in developing righteous, reformative individuals towards producing the best ummah.

Mission
To lead Islamic education in Singapore by nurturing a generation of Du'at (Islamic callers) and a community that has faith, practices, and upholds Amar Ma’ruf and Nahi Munkar.

Our Journey
For the past 50 years, Pergas has organized Islamic education classes run under Madrasah Mingguan Pergas (MMP) from 1987 until today. The name MMP was upgraded to Institut Pengajian Islam Pergas (IPIP) in 2005.
1986

Madrasah Mingguan Pergas (MMP) established
Before being admitted, students were interviewed by several asatizah including:
Ustaz Mohamad Hasbi Bin Hassan, Ustaz Tengku Mohamad Fouzy Bin Tengku Mahid Jumat, Ustaz Jazair Bin Jumat and Ustaz Masbur Bin Ahmad.
1989

MMP expanded to Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah
There was rising demand to learn Arabic and insufficient space.
Evening classes were introduced at Madrasah Aljunied, 3 times a week.
1999

Pergas moved to Wisma Indah
MMP classes also began to be conducted here.
2005

MMP upgraded to Institut Pengajian Islam Pergas (IPIP)
Launch of two new programs:
• Diploma in Islamic Studies
• Bachelor in Islamic Revealed Knowledge & Heritage
2006

First IPIP Convocation
Most graduates received their certificates at the ceremony held at Majestic Theatre.
2011

Collaboration with Masjid Al-Khair
The Advanced Certificate in Islamic Studies program offered here for the first time, expanding IPIP programs to western Singapore.
First cohort of Bachelor’s graduates (Pergas–IIUM collaboration)
16 IPIP graduates attended the certificate presentation at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
2012

Exploring Franchise opportunities with Darul Huffaz Learning Centre
Certificate in Islamic Studies offered to Darul Huffaz students.
2015

Collaboration with Masjid Al-Muttaqin
Two IPIP programs are conducted here: the Certificate in Islamic Studies and the Advanced Certificate in Islamic Studies.
2016

Collaboration with Masjid Darul Makmur
Advanced Certificate in Islamic Studies offered here to open higher learning pathways for aLIVE students.
2018

IPIP expanded to MDIS Changi Road
To host short courses such as Quranic Studies and Arabic Language Studies.
